JEFF BRADY, Company President
Growing up in Sequim, Washington, I began working in the sawmill industry
becoming a mill superintendent in Port Angeles. Later, I was transferred
to Shelton, WA to construct an additional mill which was completed in 1982. Upon
weighing the company’s request for me to return to Port Angeles,
my soon to be wife, Nancy and I contemplated our enjoyment of the area
and chose to remain in Shelton to start our own business. Nancy
and I were married and founded Brady Trucking Co. Inc. in the month of
May of 1982.
We purchased our first truck and I began hauling wood products for the mill I
had helped to build. As the mill expanded its operations, our company had
to keep up with the pace and our fleet grew to three trucks and I continued to
drive, maintain our trucks, and manage the business. Nancy played a key
role in keeping our books while raising our three children. Because residual
tree bark is a byproduct of the area’s wood industry, we made the decision
to branch into the production of beauty bark and began a related business of
supplying landscaping products. Over the years, we’ve had the pleasure
of seeing our business grow into an industry leader, supplying products throughout
five western states.
Our company operates in a very competitive climate and we thoroughly understand how quality, price, and customer service are essential elements for our customers. I commend our employees for their continued dedication and credit them for our success.
Outside of work, I have enjoyed taking part in many facets of ministry in Central America. Additionally, Nancy and I have enjoyed leading numerous short term mission groups from around the United States to serve the disenfranchised people of Honduras and Nicaragua.
My family members include my faithful partner and wife Nancy, my daughter Tammy, a Central Washington University graduate working in social work, Erin who works in Brady Trucking accounting, along with her husband Esau and two grandchildren, and Evan who is currently working in our dispatch and shipping department.
NANCY BRADY, Vice President
It has been amazing and humbling to see our company grow from Jeff and
myself to over 50 employees. Over the years, my role in the company
has been, and continues to be, a support person who helps Jeff and our
staff on projects, special assignments, or anything else that comes along
requiring immediate attention. Even though Brady Trucking has shown significant
growth, we do our best to maintain an attitude of unity and camaraderie. Jeff
and I are truly grateful to all our employees and customers and appreciate
our time together in business. As a mother, I have enjoyed watching our
children grow into respected and responsible young adults and I thoroughly
enjoy spending time with my awesome grandchildren.

DARLENE DEEMER, Office Administrator
I began working for Brady Trucking in 1991 as a part time employee
answering phones and doing office cleaning. As a utility player,
my job assignments quickly grew into managing accounts receivable, payroll,
quarterly reports, and human resources. I thoroughly enjoy the rapport
I have with customers and strive to provide the best service possible to
meet their needs. I’m proud to be a part of this business and
I take great pleasure in our company’s diversity of fun and dedicated
employees who always keep me on my toes! I’m a long time member
of our Shelton community and I am married to a wonderful man who has been
at my side for 38 years. I’m also fortunate to spend many happy
hours together with my three grown kids and four grandchildren who also
live in Shelton. When I’m away from work, I enjoy cross stitching,
camping, hunting, and watching the Seahawks and Mariners.
RANDY MACK, Dispatcher Supervisor
I started washing trucks at Brady Trucking out of high school. I
additionally gained experience in the construction industry and later worked
at various positions of our company. My experiences in maintenance,
bark operations, and as a truck operator help me to thoroughly relate to
the importance of smooth and efficient dispatch service for our company
and customers. I enjoy the family atmosphere here at Brady Trucking
where people are friendly and look out for one another. My own family
includes my wife, Echo and two daughters named Ryann and Dusty. We enjoy
dirt track racing, target shooting, and boating.
DEL ROBERSON, Evening Dispatcher
After 21 years in the United States Navy, I retired and settled in Shelton
and began my employment with Brady Trucking in 1999. Over the years
I have worked at numerous capacities within the company including bark
operations, shop duties, driving, and dispatch. As a team player,
I’m committed to contributing to a positive atmosphere between our
staff, drivers, and customers. I enjoy spending time with Bev, my wife
of 28 years and my three grown children. I also like bicycling, walking,
camping, taking road trips (hopefully on a Harley Davidson) and fellowshipping
with friends at our local church.

ERIN DEL ARCA, Accounting
My association with Brady Trucking began as a little girl looking up to
my dad (Jeff Brady) and wanting to be a truck driver! My family setting
and surroundings changed however, during my teen years as our family served
as missionaries in Honduras, Central America. I continued to live
in Honduras for a short time after getting married to my husband Esau. Eventually
we moved back to Shelton, and I came to work as our company’s accountant. Giving
up my early childhood ambition of being a truck driver has fit well with
being a mother of our two beautiful children, Riley and Maya. I enjoy
my co-workers, meeting new and interesting people, and listening to the
stories related to our trucking industry. I strive to be diligent
in all my work responsibilities while keeping a positive attitude. Outside
of work, I enjoy being a part of my husband’s Latino ministry at
our local church and spending time with family and friends.
EVAN BRADY
Bark Plant Manager
I started working for Brady Trucking on a part time basis beginning
at twelve years of age driving the loader in the bark yard. Upon deciding
to experience a different geographic region and climate, I attended Mesa
Community College in sunny Arizona before returning to Shelton to rejoin
our company on a full time basis. My work experience has included machinery
operations, shop maintenance, dispatch, and interstate shipping. I
enjoy a variety of tasks and challenges in my work and take pleasure in contributing
to our family business. During my time off, I enjoy playing, writing,
and recording music, skateboarding, fishing, and playing sports.
ROB DUNLAP
Weekend Dispatcher
I’m currently the weekend dispatcher as well as a truck operator for live floor, end dump and chip trailers. Upon completion of high school, I worked as a carpenter for a local contractor for three and one half years. In the fall of 2005, Jeff Brady, our company president, sponsored me with a driver’s training course while I worked at the Brady bark plant. I’m happily married to my wife, Katrina and we take great pleasure in our young daughter, Brooklynn. I also enjoy hunting, water sports, attending concerts, and hanging out with my family. I really like the friendly family atmosphere here at Brady Trucking and I enjoy meeting new people at the mills or on delivery sites. My work related goal is to do my part in helping our company to continue to grow through friendly company service and good work ethic.
PAUL MORTENSEN, Sales & General Assistance
My name is Paul Mortensen and I joined the team at Brady Trucking in
January, 2006, to promote sales, marketing, and to assist our customers
with obtaining all their needed products. I was employed as a public
school teacher for 27 years and thoroughly enjoyed the challenges and
joys of working with students. The staff and personnel here
at Brady Trucking are friendly, dedicated, and helpful. I hope to
pass along these very same qualities to our customers throughout the region. My
family includes my wife Patti, of 25 years, and our two boys Kyle and
Ryan. Together we enjoy water and snow skiing, hiking, reading,
and spending time with other family members and friends.
